Sieve Analysis

Ro-tap® shaker, sieves, and sound enclosures manufactured by W.S. Tyler. Brass or Stainless Steel sieves are available any mesh or diameter. The RX-29 Ro-tap® is the standard size sieve analyzer used by the roto industry. The RX-29 holds 6 full height 8 inch diameter sieves (screens) plus a pan and cover. Available in 110 or 220 volts, 60 Hz or 50 Hz.

Replacement Sieves (Screens)
Sieves are available for hand screening or as replacement sieves for the Ro-tap®. They are available in many different diameters. The frames are brass or stainless steel and the wire cloth (screen)is available in brass or stainless steel. Covers, pans, and cleaning brushes are also available. Many of these products are in stock for quick shipping.

Sound Enclosure and Stand
The sound enclosure and aluminum stand are manufactured by W. S. Tyler. Operating noise levels are reduced from 85 decibels to 60 decibels. The enclosure also protects and keeps the equipment clean between uses. This sound enclosure is a highly reccommended option. The aluminum stand may be used with or without the sound enclosure.

Pourability and Bulk Density cup
ASTM D1895
Pourability (funnel flow), adjustable stand, and Bulk Density Cup. This apparatus is in compliance with ASTM D1895. This inexpensive test equipment is a must for all rotomolders. Improperly ground resin will not mold as expected. Both tests can be performed in less than five minutes.
