This is an example of a 12" X 12" X 12" CNC machined aluminum test mold. It was machined in 6 panels which allows the mold to be disassembled and modified with other panels. This is a 3 Dimensional diagram of a mini Flow GaugeTM mold with a fill port, two vents, logo, shrink gauge in the bottom panel, frameless mounting, Black 5000 Stonekote Teflon® on the mold exterior, and Green 7000 Stonekote Teflon® on the parting lines. The side panels contain 16 plaques 5" X 5" for the ARM falling dart impact test, accelerated weather testing and tensile or elongation dog bones. This roto test mold has an optional universal Rotolog or dropbox mounting system.
This is an example of a 7" X 7" X 7" CNC aluminum test mold. It was machined in 6 panels which allows the mold to be disassembled and modified with other panels. This is a 3 Dimensional diagram of a wedge Flow GaugeTM mold with a fill port, two vents, shrink gauge in the bottom panel, frameless mounting, Black 5000 Stonekote Teflon® on the mold exterior, and Green 7000 Stonekote Teflon® on the parting lines. The side panels contain 4 plaques 5" X 5" for the ARM falling dart impact test, accelerated weather testing, color chips or tensile dog bones.

This is a CNC machined test box mold containing 25 Flow GaugesTM, a shrink gauge, and 24 5" x 5" impact plaques. This mold is the ultimate test mold for a larger rotational molding machine. It will show the FINAL FLOW of resins.

In stock and custom built molds for research, product development, quality control, and color matching are readily available. CNC machined molds can be build in 3-4 weeks after print approval.
A 22" X 22" X 12" sample molded in a Flow GaugeTM mold. Feeling the top rim of the Flow GaugeTM readily indicates which gauges are filled completely and which are not filled. The cylinder gauges are numbered to aid in plotting or discussing the Final Flow of a material after rotational molding.
The lid from a 22" X 22" X 12" Flow GaugeTM mold showing 25 Flow GaugeTM cylinders of different diameters, different heights, and different radii at the top and bottom of the cylinders. This Flow GaugeTM will determine qualitatively how well resin flows. It is designed to test the composite of melt index, sieve analysis, pourability, and the molecular weight distribution into one qualitative display. The composite flow has been dubbed the Final Flow.

6½" X 3" X 1" CNC machined aluminum molds for color matching and quality control of color. These vented molds yield 4 single wall chips which are easy to mail and file, and can be used for color comparisons. The chips contain saw lines to get quality chips every time. The chips have different textures for different surface gloss. Of course, the parts can be used as molded. This is an excellent display of a hollow rotomolded part. The chips may contain any desired texture. Football molds are available for customer give-aways or promotions.
This picture does not enlarge. Drop boxes are dsigned to mold multi-wall parts automatically. The smallest available is 2 ½ lb capacity and of course larger drop boxes are available. Compressed air routed through the machine arm activates the drop box dropping the second resin into the mold at a predetermined time. The second resin (material) may contain foaming agents, another color, another resin, or regrind. Our standard test mold has a manual fill port. When the drop box is a added to that mold, triple wall parts can easily be made.
